Cave Castle Predjama 🏰

Day 4: An incredible structure from ancient times

First stop this day – Predjama Cave Castle
An interesting structure from times gone by, built directly into the mountain. Even today, this fortress would be considered a true architectural masterpiece and would be difficult to replicate. Back then, however, the need to protect oneself from robbers and looters prevailed, making structures that seem impossible possible. Definitely a great fortress.Read more

After a long day with a lot of nature and wilderness we found a place next to the beautiful Krka river. It was such a beautiful place that we decided to stay for 2 nights.Read more

Day 5-7: Campersite Benetič - spot on the border

Arrival at the Camper pitch directly on the river with sanitary facilities. The 150-year-old watermill creates a beautiful ambience, and the surrounding landscape is as picturesque as ever in Slovenia *.*
Because of its beauty and because we need to fix the camper^^, we decide to stay for 2 nights.Read more

At day 7, we finally cross the border to Croatia. At midday we arrive a qualm familiar campsite with great sanitary facilities and a really really friendly host family. We soaked up the atmosphere for the next days.Read more

We leave the island and drive from Krk towards Senj (toll-free) with incredible scenery😍
This street is an eye-catcher and it’s definitely worth the extra few minutes drive.Read more

Day 9-10: Away from the Ocean

A delicious restaurant with local specialties. Prices almost like in KN times! Trout from the Gacka Valley is a culinary delight. Furthermore, you can stay one night for free with your camper in the parking lot right by the river. Really great store and a really great place on the Land.Read more

Camping stobreč Split

Unfortunately the only campsite close to the city of Split. Extremely overpriced in high season but also very nice and all inclusive. Sauna / wellness as well as washing machine / dryer.

The port city of Split. Hot, loud and smelly in midsummer. But also quaint and truly beautiful to look at. Much more pleasant and quieter away from the tourist hotspots. Definitely worth a visit! 😄Read more
