Called on Phuket, Thailand today. Toured Promthep Cape a towering lookout on the southern most point of the island. On top they have a very unique Elephant Shrine. Visited Wat Chalong Temple that reportedly has a sliver of Lord Buddha’s bone. They let off firecrackers as an offering to the gods. Beautiful place. Stopped by a Cashew Factory and then off to Patong Beach. Lunch with Joy and Peter for Thai food. Joy always orders enough for 10 people! I did sample most of hers.
