Sailed into Santa Cruz on the Island of Tenerife under a full moon! The volcanic coastline of Tenerife is breathtaking. Visited the town of Candelaria, with a beautiful Basilica housing the famous “Black Madonna” On to the Pyramids of Guimar. An interesting set of pyramids that perfectly align the sun at Winter and Summer Solstice. Ended the day with a long drive over the mountains and through the Teide National Park. Hopefully we will be back to spend some time in these islands.Baca lagi
