Loooooong Day

We knew it would be a long day, but thanks to LA traffic and a couple traffic stopping accidents that added 1-2 hours to the trip, we were in the truck for 11 hours. Thankfully, today is a down day with Eric, Kiley and Bella. The lush green hills are going over the Grapevine (I-5 hills north of LA.) It reminded me of the lush green hills of Ireland. Most of the time, these hills are brown as the vegetation gasps for water. For a few weeks each year, they are beautiful.
