Schattige stad. Was wel leuk om even een tijdje in door te brengen. Er is alleen niet super veel te doen zover ik zie om daar meerdere dagen vakantie te houden.
Cute city. It was fun to walk through it for a bit. However, there isnt a lot to do as far as I can see to go on vacation to this city for multiple days.Okumaya devam et

Was een beetje telleurgesteld met deze stad. Je moest betalen voor een groot gedeelte van het strand en het centrum was ook een beetje saai. Je hebt alleen een meer verderop en een uitkijktoren waarvoor je moet betalen.
Was a bit dissapointed with this city. You needed to pay for a big part of the beach and the city center was kinda boring. You only have a small lake further inland and a lookout tower for which you needed to pay.Okumaya devam et

Budapest-Déli

Aangekomen in Boedapest-Déli om 12:00. Officieel is Boedapest-Kelenföld korter. Maar moest toch 3 uur wachten voordat ik het appartement in kon gaan. Hierdoor besloot ik om te kijken wat er bij Déli te doen is. Het is heel dichtbij Castle Hill en Kasteel Buda (waar ik ooit al eens naartoe gegaan ben).
Arrived in Budapest-Déli at 12:00. Budapest-Kelenföld is faster than Déli to get to the appartment. But I needed to wait 3 hours before I cpild get in anyway. This is the reason why I decided to go to Déli to see what there is to do there. It is close to Castle Hill and Buda Castle (I have been here before).Okumaya devam et

Paar fotos onderweg naar het appartement. Ik stapte uit in een tram aan de andere kant van de rivier en besloot om over de brug en dan langs de rivier te lopen. Belső-Ferencváros is de plaats waar het appartement ligt.

Het wordt officieel geen Chinatown genoemd, maar er is wel een grote verzameling van Chinese winkels.
Its officially not called Chinatown. However, its still a collection of chinese stores.

Na Chinatown zijn we even door de Ikea heengelopen en langs de straat gaan lopen waar de Ikea staat. Er staan namelijk verschillende winkelcentra dichtbij.
We walked through the Ikea after going to Chinatown. We also walked through the street where the Ikea is. There are multiple shopping centers closeby.Okumaya devam et

Váci Utca is eigenlijk een grote winkelstraat. Het is een beetje te vergelijken met de Kalverstraat in Amsterdam, maar alleen met meer souvenierwinkels.

Soviet Memorial & WW2 Memorial

De Sovjet Memorial Herdenkt de Russische Soldaten die gevochten hebben gedurende de 2de wereldoorlog. Het andere monument over de Duitse bezetting is iets controversieel (Zie foto 7).
The Soviet Memorial commemorates the Russian Soldiers who fought in WW2. The other Monument is a bit controversial (See picture 8).Okumaya devam et

Wij wouden het de laatste dag even rustig aan doen en gewoon relaxen om de vakantie goed af te sluiten. Ik was hier vorig jaar ook en wou hier eigenlijk terug. Dit hebben we dus gedaan.

En de laatste stop: Vliegveld Boedapest. Was een leuke en interessante vakantie. Heb er geen spijt van! Het was alleen jammer dat ik een paar dagen alleen was.
