Wild Atlantic Way

...it's not the best we've had.

We arrived late last night and everyone was exhausted. Being so late and dark made it hard to figure out how to park and how we could get sorted as easily as possible.

We settled for facing away from the direction of the wind in favour of keeping the little people's heads above their feet in bed.

The wind was treacherous and we also realised that the van's step wasn't working, neither was the water (pump issue) and turning on and off the internal lights centrally... The electrics needed resetting, but the whole of the garage needed to be emptied to do it... we decided to leave it until morning and at least do it in the daylight.

The wind was so bad over night I had to get up and take a travel sickness tablet as it was making me feel sick. I couldn't hear the wind (loops) but I could definitely feel the van being blown around!

Waking up this morning, the wind is still super strong and I decided to walk the dog to see what was around. We set off and it was windy... Then the torrential rain started! We both got back soaked and underwhelmed at our surroundings!
