Gown and Gloves

Today I got up and walked to The Wesley Hospital for a breast and endocrine list. I did the first case, then went to the medical school to watch some of the 'Student Presents' presentations. The first was a renal cell carcinoma treated with a partial nephrectomy, and the second was a patient with Parkinson's treated with deep brain stimulation. I then went to the cafe at the hospital, got lunch with Yasmin, and went up to the theatres with Yasmin and Lachlan. After finishing the list, Jenny gave me a load of gowns and gloves to practice with. I then went home and tried the new technique to scrub. I also texted Dr O'Rourke and asked if I could join him for a list tomorrow, and he agreed.En savoir plus
