Flying back to NZ

After what feels like the longest journey ever, I landed in cold Christchurch on Monday afternoon…

For an unknown reason the connecting flight from Sydney to Christchurch was cancelled, so I was booked into a hotel for the night along with a few other kiwis flying to Christchurch and Wellington as well. We had to wait 2 hours for our bags to come through the belt before we could make our way through the airport security, only to find out my bag had been damaged pretty badly. The idea of the hotel was great for my lack of sleep but unfortunately I only got to stay there for 3 hours before my flight.

With all of the chaos that I uncounted along the way of my solo travel, I am grateful to the people I met along the way who made everything feel a bit less stressful. It was a relief to arrive back home 😅✈️🤍Leggi altro
