Visiting Büdingen

Büdingen is a town in the Wetteraukreis, mainly known for its heavily fortified medieval town wall and traditional half timbered houses. We spent the day following our map, which had a list of sights to see all around the town. It was very interesting to read up on the history here and to see how well preserved the buildings are. It gives you a really nice idea of how Germany used to be 💫
I believe the history here dates back to as early as around the year 700.Read more
