Parkview Apartments, Brisbane

We grab a cab to our accomm in the West End/South Brisbane. It’s a studio apartment in a complex and we arrive at the gates - which are firmly locked. Mmmm.
Our eyes alight on a tel no and thankfully someone picks up. The keys are in the key safe. For a few mins there, I though our 25+ hour trip had ended on the pavement.
The studio is not the best and no hob which is annoying. At least there’s a microwave - simple meals for a few days then. No shops open at this hour, so we opt for ‘Mad Burgers’, served to us by a modern day ‘Bill and Ted’ duo.
Jet lag and painful back stopped decent sleep - but better to be on a bed than in a plane. First proper day of hols tomorrow 😊Read more
