Warrumbungle NP part 1

Thankfully the rain hasn’t been as bad as we feared, and with the sun out this place is stunning.

We visited the White Gum lookout point and found out there had been a massive fire here in 2013, which had decimated 95% of the national park (which measures 57,600 acres).

But the wilderness is an extraordinary place, and the trees, shrubs and flowers have rejuvenated and life goes on.

Back at the camp, when dusk fell, the sky slowly cycled through the colours of the rainbow.Leia mais
