End of our road trip tomorrow….

So this is our last campsite stay of the trip. We’ve had three nights here (Blackheath, nr Katoomba) and tomorrow we drop Matty off in Sydney.

Dropping Matty off…..
That’s going to be a difficult one - there may be tears. Matty has contained us and all our worldly goods. She’s kept us safe, warm, cool, taken us inland, down the east coast of Queensland, into some of New South Wales, totalling nearly 6,500 kms. She’s enabled us to travel to so many unforgettable places ❤️

After visiting a couple of Blue Mountain lookouts, we came back to our site to start the painful process of decommissioning everything. All our things have found their spots and ‘expanded’ these last few weeks - not sure they’re going to fit back in to their original bags and cases…..

Once we’ve handed in Matty’s keys, we’ll get a cab to take us and our multiple bags from the drop off to our final accommodation and our last few days in Aus….,Læs mere
