Bye bye hotel and Changi Airport

Waited in the hotel lobby for our cab to the airport. Nice to just sit and people watch for a bit.

So most airports are places to stress, check in, stress, sit in uncomfortable seats, stress - etc.

Changi is a different story. We arrived a bit earlier than the normal check in to visit ‘The Jewel’:

We only saw the amazing indoor waterfall, but we could have spent hours there.

Then in the airport departures, there’s a butterfly garden and a sunflower garden - we didn’t get to see these - but they seem to turn air travel into an occasion, rather than a hassle (which makes a nice change)!もっと詳しく
