Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Traveled from the Serengeti to Ngorongoro which took about 4 hours along dirt roads. Stopped at the Great Divide which was one of the places where the first evidence of human remains was discovered. Arrived at our lodge on the edge of the caldera. Did a 2 hour nature walk around the premises and learned about the plants and history of the area. Had to have a Masai Warrior in the lead with spear in hand in case of any animal surprises. Found huge porcupine quills. It was a fascinating walk.Leggi altro
