A large Basilica with a Egyptian column outside on top of a carved elephant. The inside was equally weird too, with a skull set into one of the walls.

We came to this Basilica to see the incorruptible body of Saint Victoria, with some help from a bit of wax.

This piazza designed by Michelangelo was everything I expected to be honest - opulent, grand, and expansive. The heat meant we didn't spend too long here, but it was fun to see!

Our accommodation with Florence was a Monastery set high up in the hills overlooking part of the city.
