Excursions from Tongue Bay

An early morning motor and sail down the west side of Hook Island, through Hook Passage and down the east side of Whitsunday Island brought us to moor in at Tongue Bay. From there we tendered and walked over to the tourist lookout and had our first peek at Whitehaven Bay.

We then sailed on over to anchor off Whitehaven Beach and had a swim and play on the sands.

Now we've come back to Tongue Bay and anchored in for the night, ready to enjoy some chicken and beef tacos.Read more
