Silo Art Trail is Australia’s largest outdoor gallery, stretching over 200 Klms & linking 6 small Victoria country towns & Australia’s rural communities. Set in the state’s remote north - west Wimmera Mallee region, the trail acknowledges the region’s history as an important wheat growing area & honours its locals through a serious of remarkable, large-scale portraits painted by a team of local & international artists. Visitors from all over the globe & Australia, the silo art work of 6 highly acclaimed, internationally recognised street artists, Julia Volchkova (Russia). Guido van Helton, Finton Magee, Matt Adnate, Kaff-eine & Rone. Unlike anything Australia has seen before, the murals have repurposed old de-commissioned wheat silos as their canvas , drawing a vast global audience & breathing new life into the struggling , drought- effected rural communities of Brim, Patchewollock, Sheep Hills, Rosebery, Lascelles & Rupanyup .phew!!!!!, now enjoy the picsRead more
