Bear management? 😬😭😱

People have been asking me about bears. There are a lot of resources for hikers to prevent problems, including education (for us! Not the bears😂) bear lockers at most shelter locations. Haven’t seen any bear activity but I do carry bear spray and I have been practicing drawing it (they say you only get 2 or 3 seconds if one charges at you). I also practice safe camping- have a solid bear container for all my food, trash, and toiletries… and I never store food in my tent.Read more
