🌜 Camping near Pochuck Mountain Shelter

19,5 miles of wet hiking today. Major pit stop in Unionville NY for groceries, pizza, and then 5 miles of hiking into the darkening forest, attempting to get shelter space… but it was pretty full so we pitched tents nearby. Even though it was sloppy (mud! Mud! Mud!) and rainy all day it felt quick and even fun.
