Pitcher Plants

This was a delightful find in the bogs of Maine, inches from trail. Hard to photograph in this context but these are carnivorous pitcher plants. They attract prey with sweet nectar but the bugs are quickly trapped in a small, slippery vessel filled with digestive enzymes 😱Læs mere
