Overwhelmed by the grandeur and size of St Peter's Basilica. It took 110 years to build, completed in 1626. Apparently built on the site where Peter was crucified upside down and then buried.

PengembaraLove Florence. We got to see the original David 35 years ago. It’s incredible that someone can carve something so perfect from a slab of marble. Michelangelo was such an incredibly intelligent, gifted and talented man.
