Around 10am Kyle and I left Empire, MI in our newly renovated 1972 Apache Mesa Popup Camper.
After our first night in the Camper we woke up to a beautiful sunrise over Lake Michigan
We visited Pipestone National Monument. The quarries there have yielded the red pipestone sacred to native american tribes for more than 2000 years.
Standing over 600 feet Devils Tower is still somewhat of a geological mystery. Also, won a stare-off against a prairie dog!
Checked out the Crazy Horse memorial today! Started in 1947 and still under active construction, funded only by visitors donations. Cool stuff!
Traveler Looks nice
Traveler You guys did a great job on the camper
