... in Cocoa Beach

We're back at the same resort in Cocoa Beach. It was our favourite place so we didn't mind. We weren't fortunate enough to get a penthouse unit this time but we are on the 5th floor with a view of the community.

We drove about 45 minutes south to the Viera Wetlands in Melbourne. It's a 200 acre constructed wetland system where the reclaimed water is used for irrigation. We were able to drive or walk along a berm so that you could get a close up view of the wildlife. We saw an alligator swimming in the water but it never did come to shore. There were lots of different birds that we were unable to identify and photographers with huge 2 foot lenses. One bird was the envy of the others when he swooped down and caught a small snake!Weiterlesen
