    Potatoes and Pineapple Brazilian Style

    Maria and the girls join us for a BBQ this evening. Steaks and the usual fare accompanied by a side of Brazilian potato and pea salad and followed by a Brazilian pineapple dessert. Dimitra questioned the authenticity of the salad. The dessert didn't set in time so plenty left over.

    I would recommend the dessert for the health conscious. It is a pineapple liquefied in a food processor with lime juice and some sugar added.

    Viajante(Written by Mercina) My Opinion on the dinner served. Well, it was quite lovely, the steaks were nice and tender and the potatoes expertly grilled on the BBQ. The salad was fresh and delicious, nothing like any salad I've had before. The pineapple dessert was a revelation. As a fan of consuming some cool pineapple chunks in the evenings, this dessert was exciting and tasty. A great way to end the meal. Oh, and Poppy's cupcakes were good too I guess.
