ViajeroYes following you on everything. That’s a lovely spot to stay, right on the beach. Another weather warning from dad - it’s going to be 48c! Western Spain and eastern Portugal. He says tell them to stay coastal and find shade.(I’ve done as he asked and passed it on). xx

Dads very concerned about the heat. It’s headline news today that parts of Spain and Portugal will be in the 50c’s!! and warnings about forest fires. Keep up with the news and stay safe.xx
ViajeroNoted that the heat wave. Thanks for the heads up it’s still pretty cloudy where we are but I think this is the Spanish equivalent of the Lake District. We will hug the coast down to Lisbon and if the weather is still sorchio we may try to do straight across to Alicante and miss out the middle area all together.

Rather than climb the famous Baroque steps that are over 100 m. We took the funicular railway. Felix and Oscar all over the engineering.
