Kliensee Wild camp

Probably our most wild night of the trip. Arrived just after sunset after driving through the beautiful Namaqua. Would love to come back to explore this national park a little better. Drove down some very sandy stretches of road almost to the sea, and used the car as a windbreak after we parked it on some big slabs of rock to prevent it getting stuck. We then cooked a delicious pasta dinner sheltering next to the car. Wild initiation to our first night in the wild. The next morning greeted us with the sounds of the waves crashing in front of the tent, and a soft sunny day, although the cold had not yet left the land. We escaped the sand unhindered. Kliensee is a quant town with a bit of character, and quite a few mines surrounding the town.Leia mais
