    16.–18. apr. 2024, Australien ⋅ ☁️ 17 °C

Home for the next 2 nights - with lots of friendly wildlife. Koalas way up high in the trees and wallabies grazing at our feet. This caravan park is on the eastern edge of the Flinders Chase National Park and a good base to explore the attractions in this area of the island.

The park is known for its dense bushland, soaring cliffs, untouched white sandy beaches and pristine rivers and lagoons. At the wild and rugged western end of the island, the park is located approximately 110 kilometres from the main island town of Kingscote.

Covering an area of more than 326 square kilometres, the protected sanctuary of Flinders Chase National Park is home to some of Kangaroo Island’s best known natural attractions, and an abundance of native wildlife and wildflowers.
