Third stop was Weirs Cove, a couple of hundred metres east of the lighthouse complex, where there are the remains of the old 3 roomed storage building used by the lighthouse keepers. Until road transport improved in the 1940s, supplies were winched up on a flying fox from the jetty to the storerooms.Read more
