American River

We decided to treat ourselves by checking in to the Mercure hotel especially since the weather has turned quite cold and windy. We are now booked on the 4.30pm ferry back to the mainland tomorrow. A week has been a good amount of time to really explore KI.
On checking in to the hotel I was asked for my physical credit card as security and this was when I discovered that I had left my small handbag back at the cafe in Parndana. The waitress offered to bring it to American River as she was having a Thai dinner here UNTIL the hotel receptionist told me that the Thai restaurant is closed due to Covid!
