Last Day 🚲

Sunny morning leaving our campsite for our journey back to Hoek van Holland via Delft without the advantage of the wind behind us. Cycling on flat ground is fab unless you have strong winds!! Pathways with water either side, nature all around, coots nesting , hares in fields , so many egyptian geese nesting , herons. Cycling through the villages sheltered us from
the wind a little, all their gardens ending at the waters edge . Bridges , water lily pads floating , calm atmosphere before hitting the wind . Arriving in Delft witnessing a wedding in the old square , horses with carts carrying the wedding party. Cheese shops, salted herring was delish . Setting off again for 2 more hours to our final destination past windmills, strawberry farms, greenhouses. Swim in the freezing sea before the best weiss beer & burger and the ferry.Read more
