Versaille and nearby

Spent the morning in the charming village of Pont de l'Arche with ancient buildings and stunning view over the river. Then moved on to Versaille and cycled in warm sunshine around the parkland and town, the latter thronged with Japanese tourists. Found a quiet campsite for the night only a few miles from Paris but the nightmare of the peripherique (ring road) lived up to its reputation!En savoir plus
