Cycling the lake

Spent all day cycling the 40 miles around the lake, much on road or roadside cycle paths and some on old railway routes complete with tunnels. Much of the far side is a windy, narrow lakeside road overhung by cliffs and seemed to attract all the motorcyclists in Italy trying to show off. Initially stumped by a 1km poorly lit tunnel and us with no lights! Eventually braved it by donning reflective coats, turning the electric up full and pedalling for dear life.Read more
