Spent the morning visiting Wat Phou which is second only to Angkor Wat in age and importance to Buddhists. Seemed much hotter today, well into the 30s so we took advantage of the My Little Pony sun umbrellas available to rent. Spent the afternoon at the hotel in the pool until driven indoors by a sharp shower but managed a short bike ride before dusk dodging the rain-filled potholes.Read more
