Relaxing by the beach

Quiet day, windy and cloudy but warm enough for a dip in the pool. Alice arrived at 11am with a hire car (more of that later) and we walked 5 min down the road for brunch at a beachside venue into which the high tide made an appearance. Lazy afternoon then made to set off for dinner. David couldn't get the hang of the Prius hybrid car brake system, so after a few failed attempts, Alice drove us to an excellent Indian restaurant.
