    Day 11. What is it with Finland.

    Yesterday’s dinner was far away from perfect but you can’t be lucky every day I guess. Today’s morning started with a tasty homemade Omelette and with sliding over a red light on pure Ice we waved Oulu goodbye and headed straight south towards Helsinki.

    Roads were wet and curveless, temperatures around 0 degrees and trucks driving like crazy let the morning become a tough start into out today’s rather long stage.

    Driving was boring and exhausting, so we passed time with some finnish quiz games. I hope my new gained knowledge about finnish tree sorts will ever help me in life.

    The nightstay is Krapi. Against all odds we found a super nice hotel with an even more nice restaurant that served us a typical finnish&russian buffet. So we got the chance to enjoy Blinis with all sorts of toppings and many other good stuff. Here and there a Koskenkorva (typical finnish Vodka) helped to digest well. After a piece of the legendary lemon cake and a good chat with the superfriendly waiter we got to bed.

    What started as a mediocre day ended up in a perfect evening.
