Paris to Ablain-Saint-Nazaire

A quick lunch in Paris, then a train to Arras and a taxi to Ablain-Saint-Nazaire. We visited the Cemetery of Notre Dame de Lorette and the ruins of a nearby church. There was heavy fighting here in WWI. The cemetery has 40,000 graves and the nearby Ring of Remembrance lists 600,000 names of men of all nationalities who died in this region.Read more
