Liam helped shear a sheep!!! We later drove to Gore to meet Doreen’s friends for a birthday lunch. Then we drove back to Wānaka.

ViajeroSí, las ovejas merinas fueron una potente industria en España desde finales de la Edad Media hasta el S XVIII. La merina fue un monopolio español y su exportación se castigó incluso con la muerte. La trashumancia, el traslado de las ovejas en busca de pastos, estuvo protegida por una institución llamada la Mesta. Las ovejas recorrían España de norte a sur y de sur a norte a través de los caminos reales.
