Zagreb Day 3.5

After our long breaks in the park it was a last wander through town and found this pup placard for a pup who befriended builders of the Oktogon building, he guarded the construction site, but died doing so so the builders put up this plaque for pups! The inside of the building was really nice! Then wandering by lots more churches and statues and back to the apartment. It was a long day of waking, and by the end it was pretty warm in the sun! But I really enjoyed Zagreb. It was very easy to walk the whole downtown, it has lots of interesting sights, lots of nice parks, there are so many benches and places to sit everywhere which is wonderful when you are out all day and want to have a break (even on the trails yesterday there were lots of benches and picnic tables). I don’t think I have been to another city with so many options for sitting in the city! The food was great too a d it was a lot of fun! Tomorrow we head on south, but still inland and see what we can see (and maybe get to swim if it is warm enough!)Läs mer
