Shopping & Food!

One day my mom suggested we go up to Kitchen Kettle Village in Intercourse, PA which was really nice! Lots of cute little shops and things. We spied, got a few fun shirts, had a soft pretzel and drinks, and made a new cow friend! It is a touristy place, but really cute and I was surprised that the prices were reasonable.

We've also been swimming more at my mom's friend's pool since it has been pretty hot outside, another black bean burger for lunch on my mom's birthday, Son's finally changed their Dole Whip flavor to pineapple which is delicious! So refreshing and yum!

Then there is a liquid vegan egg to make scambled eggs and such that you can buy here that we loved last time we visited so I bought some to make breakfast sandwiches. I was talking with my mom and she suggested trying it to replace eggs in our PA Dutch pot pie recipe so we tried it out...and it worked so well!! It was just like I remember pot pie being!! That was pretty exciting as it has been forever since I have had that as it is mostly egg noodles and I never found a good replacement for the eggs that make up most of it...so yey! Eventually we should be getting the vegan egg stuff in Europe, but who knows when that will be...When we do though pot pie will be mine once again!Meer informatie
