Beaches & Plants

After our hike we went down to Myrland Beach, which is where I was going to camp, but the „parking“ was this tiny turnoff on a cliff. I was like yeah…that’s not going to work, and the beach wasn’t as nice as one we had passed in the way (Myrland is the first photo), so we headed back to Storsandnes Beach, the one we had passed before. It was so much fun! We are right at the top of the rocks where the giant waves are crashing! So fun watching the waves and the rainbows and the mountains and the wind blowing the water as it crashes! It keeps raining and getting a bit windy, then not so it is fun!

I also added a couple photos of the berries from the hike this morning. All the Alpine Bearberries leaves were bright red, we’ve seen lots of Black Crowberries around, and lots of red Swedish Cornel berries today!

Today is also the halfway point on our trip! I cannot believe we are only halfway! It feels like we should be heading towards home any day now! Which is nice that this has felt like such a long trip :)Read more
