Siena Part 2

Our last stop before we headed back to the car was the Duomo which was gorgeous from the outside! So colorful which is unusual. Then it was down a very steep hill to the car (there were escalators we took up to the top this morning) with some really nice views of the city and a 13th century fountain with gold fish in!

Siena was fun to wander, but not our favorite town we have visited. The buildings did seem taller than other towns, but it wasn’t as pretty overall and there were way too many people there! I was glad we were there on a weekday and not on the weekend!Leggi altro
