Ljubljana Part 2

All the things! It really was so nice wandering along the water and spying. We found a Slovanian bakery that made potica (a traditional Slovenian treat) that had a vegan walnut one which we had to try and it was really good. Not very sweet, but super tasty. Then we found this weird fountain water thing…it was in the ground along this one block and it was all these odd faces and heads and when we got to the top there was a severed hand that you could turn a knob on to get the water to flow out. It was really odd all those faces in the ground…

Then we explored the west side of the water which was not as busy as the east side, though just as fun. Lots of nice buildings and parks and a war memorial (the 2nd and 3rd to last photos). We even found more treats, though we did not even try them as it was too much for today! Just brought them back to have later (chocolate banana raspberry tart and a chocolate pistachio square).En savoir plus
