Slap Boka & Camp

After our morning walk we headed on to Slap Boka to see what we could see. On the way we drove through all of the rain and it was still raining when we got there, but we needed to get groceries and the grocery store was only a few minutes away so we decided to do our chores first and see if it stopped raining by the time we got back…and it had! Only 15-20 min later and it was perfect for the short walk up to the viewpoint. You could have walked farther and walked towards the top of the falls, but it was very wet from the rain and steep and we had afternoon walking plans so we just went to the first viewpoint and called it good.

After that we headed on to camp and got a lovely spot in the mountains just in time for lunch! The last 7 photos are all from around camp as it is so nice! It keeps raining off and on and we get some spooky clouds and it is fun! Later this afternoon we heard lots of thunder, but we only got the rain. After the first rain storm I had fun watching the clouds come up from around the river - like all the water formed clouds and kept covering the mountains, then clearing, then covering, and repeating.
