Bamberg Day 2.1

Today was a more relaxing day than we have been having. I slept in which was good as I didn’t sleep great with my back, but luckily it was starting to feel better this morning (and is doing better still now). Still a bit sore, but not nearly as bad as last evening so that is good. Going to keep taking it easy on it until it is all better. We have a long drive tomorrow again and I am hoping that doesn’t make it worse.

So we lazed around this morning and then after lunch headed out for a short walk. We first walked up to the monastery on the hill, though there was scaffolding all over it, but you still had views over the city.

Then it was on to the cathedral which was interesting as there were no stained glass windows! Just normal windows. We hadn’t gone in last time as it was closed so that was fun. Then we wandered through town spying on some treat places. We did up getting some whole wheat cinnamon rolls and some cardamom buns. I love cardamom buns! So tasty!
