They don't have Waffle House but they have rest areas with "Autogrill" which serves wide variwty of meals. They have paninni of all types and grill with pastas risoto or even steaks.

Glorified toilet stop. Actually it was a nice shop that had someone making cameos showing how they are made. They have nice toilets and a really nice jewelry shop.

There were shops lining the streets. Shop doors were oriental style sliding doors.
Larger spaces were summer homes. You can tell it was a house because of the cistern.
