    The local book store and the local library’s resources made it possible for us to copy an out of print book about Gobnait.
    I love libraries and local book stores and most of all, I Iove people who love books.
    We had a long and laughter filled lunch with our friends Eileen and Peader.
    We met Eileen when she was the Ballyvourney Librarian who took us under her wing in so many helpful ways.

  • Bantry week

    What a cozy cottage by the sea complete with the friendly dog Goggy.
    Today we visited Kristin Gleeson an American author who has written 15 books including one about Saint Gobnait. She lives near
    Bantry with her husband Dave from Cornwall.
    We presented her with a gift of a book of his poetry on behalf of our friend Ronnie an author and Gobnait fan and she was delighted.

    The lovely quiet of the seaside cottage is so soothing.
    We enjoyed the visits of the Goggy and the Gold Crest birds and the clearing of the weather.
    We had coffee with Tony Christie a Labyrinth expert and lunch with Bob and Pam, friends from Wisconsin who have lived here for 3 years.Okumaya devam et
