Day 66, Tbilisi! Eka!

Departed Turkey and arrived in Tbilisi this afternoon. This is one part of the trip that I have been most anticipating - meeting my zoom students from Georgia. Tonight was the first. Eka, an artist, has been with me since the beginning of the pandemic. She works as an illustrator, and I’m always so inspired by her creativity. Her drawings can tell a complete story using very few words. She and I have probably been together for about 50 hours over zoom.
