Definite highlight: meeting Marine, a university English professor. Marine was more my ‘covid companion’ rather than student as her English is already excellent. She was happy to have conversations in English and I was happy to get to know her. We are about the same age so it was always interesting to hear of her early life under the Soviets and mine in the US. She was afraid of America and I was afraid of Russia. 😎Marine invited us to lunch and Mark and I were both touched by her very gracious hospitality. 🌟Läs mer
