Day 76, Driving to Batumi

Our driver, George (the brother-in-law of our original driver, George, who is in Turkey with his daughter’s dance troupe) wanted us to stop by his house on our way out of Tbilisi to meet his family. Of course. The ‘brief’ stop featured time with the family and a lovely meal, including wine. George then suggested later in our travels that we drop in on his wife’s family - for ‘five minutes’. This stop also included a homestead tour, a meal, plus wine. Renowned Georgian hospitality. 🌟🌟🌟 Great treat when we reached Batumi: SumeyRa and Ali!
