One of the highlights towards the far end of the National Mall is the Reflecting Pool. The large man made lake reflects the Washington Monument at one end and the Lincoln Memorial at the other.

This evening I headed to my first ever baseball game at Nationals Park, the 41.5k capacity home of the Washington Nationals.

The game had a post game show from none other than Carly Rae Jepsen. Despite only knowing two songs from her hour long set, I thoroughly enjoyed myself, particularly during 'Call Me Maybe'.
